My iPod Touch 4G Help!?

Hey guys I have this issue with my iPod Touch 4th Generation in which my iPod with a perfect signal just looses the connection when I do anything that requires Internet.. And it happens frequently when trying to watch YouTube.. It's really annoying.. I was thinking it was my Linksys WRT54G router, but my brother also has a 4G iPod and this doesn't happen to him... Oh and this also happened to my 3rd Generation iPod too.. Some help would be much appreciated!
