Why when i click to record using my dazzle,it stops getting signal?

Well i start up my pinnacle studio 14 hd and go to import,i have to keep changing the PAL settings on my 360 and then when i go to click record,BOOM!No input signal.Need help otherwise i have payed money for nothing!
