Why are Lady Gaga fans so jealous?

I noticed that every since Britney Spears had her new album out, Lady Gaga fans have been putting her down and saying Britney sucks. It seems like they're threatened that Britney Spears, Princess of Pop, has come back from her absence and is stealing the spotlight. They act like Gaga is so amazing and original, when all she does is borrow stuff from artists like Madonna, Elton John, Michael Jackson, and David Bowie and call it original. Even in Born This Way, she just borrowed lyrics from 80's songs and did her little "Thriller" copycat routine at the end. I liked Lady Gaga, but she's so cocky and acts like she's so better than artists who have been here since before she could walk.
