What should I wear for my first day of middle school?

This summer I'm moving from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. I might or might not be in Philly for the start of the school year. I want to know what to wear for our first day. I'm just starting middle school (6th grade). Also, could I have some tips for making a good impression, meeting new friends, and surviving middle school? Thank you!:)
